I've spent over ten years in cloud transformation and supply chain, and the last year working alongside freight forwarders and NVOCCs.
I kept hearing the same things from operators buried in hundreds of emails a day: the ISF that nearly missed its window, the demurrage clock nobody was watching, the arrival notice re-keyed into a spreadsheet, the SI cut-off that moved and nobody caught.
None of that is a people problem. It's that the shipment file lives in an inbox, and nothing connects an email to the deadline it affects. So I built what I kept describing: every shipment gets its full task plan the moment it's booked, and the carrier's own emails keep that plan current.
